GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO THE BOOKING.
Description of the booking process, deposit payment, balance payment

1. Making a booking.
1.1 The booking will be made via langart.net through an online booking system.

2. Deposit payment
2.1 A deposit, in the amount specified in the booking process, to secure a place on the course, will be charged to the student at the time of booking.

3. Balance payment
3.1 The balance will be paid by the student to the school directly.
3.2 For the payment of the balance, the school will issue an invoice to the student, with the deposit deducted, and forward it to the student along with confirmation of enrolment and other documents relating to the booking. The invoice will include the methods of payment accepted by the school, as well as the deadline for payment.

1) TU (Teaching Unit) - 1 TU lasts 45 minutes and includes a short break.

2) Course starts “Flexible Booking” – the course types iOL-inlingua Online Learning, SZ-Sprachzirkel can be joined at any time.

3) The course types DI-Deutsch Intensiv, D+ Deutsch Plus and DK+ Deutsch Konversation Plus can be joined any Monday in case of previous knowledge of German, whereas beginners can start on the dates stated on the course type

4) Group sizes and minimum number of students per group: the number of teaching units stated on the price list will be held whenever the minimum required number of participants is reached. If this doesn’t occur, the course will be held anyway, with a reduced number of teaching units for the
entire period of time the minimum required number of students isn’t reached. The course fee will remain unchanged.
Courses with min. 4 students (SZ-Sprachzirkel, DI-Deutsch Intensiv), for example course with 30 teaching units: if there are 4 or more students, 30 TU (3 TU per appointment) will be held, in case
of 3 students, 20 TU (2 TU per appointment) will be held, in case of 2 students, 13 TU (1,3 TU per appointment) will be held and in case of 1 student, 10 TU (1 TU per appointment) will be held.
Conversation classes of DK+: in case of 2 or more students, 8 TU/week will be held, in case of 1 student, 4 TU/week will be held.
Online Learning as part of the course types D+ and Dk+: you will get access to the inlingua Online Learning Tool. Please note: own laptop/PC/tablet and internet connection required. The 5 weekly TU will only be shown on the certificate if that exercise time has been completed.

5) Conditions of payment: 20% of the course fee is payable at the time of booking; the balance will be due at least 2 weeks before the commencement of the course. If a course is booked within the 2 weeks before the starting date, full payment is required immediately. Commencement of the course is only possible after we have received payment or proof of payment.

6) Course cancellation fees: up to 2 weeks prior to course start -> cancellation fee of 20% of the total course fee; up to 1 day prior to course start -> 50% cancellation fee; cancellations on the first course day or “no-shows” -> 100% of the course fee.

7) Course extensions after the booked course has started will be treated as new bookings and charged according to the price list.

8) Booked lessons of the course type CIP-Crash Intensity Programme may be rescheduled
or postponed up to 5 working days before the scheduled appointment. Lessons cancelled after this time, or not attended must be paid in full, also in case of illness.

9) Cancellations of appointments of SZ-Sprachzirkel, DI-Deutsch Intensiv, D+ Deutsch Plus and DK+ Deutsch Konversation Plus are not possible.
This also applies when the minimum number of students per group isn’t reached.

10) Minimum age for group courses: 16 years.

 11) Accepted methods of payment: Cash, bank transfer, Paypal (additional charges apply). All bank charges to be paid by the student.

14) In case of Visa refusal, the 20% advance payment will not be refunded but can be used for another course within 12 months.
